Nabaztag Ladybird Books

Nabaztag Ladybird Books

Since its launch in 2005, this Nabaztag (which is Armenian for 'rabbit’) has gained a loyal following for its highly customisable series of options as a Wi-Fi PC peripheral: it can read the news out loud, tell you the weather forecast and provide you with a stockmarket update. Now this cute little fellow is aiming to woo a younger clientele. The company has teamed up with Penguin publishers to allow the Nabaztag to read certain Ladybird books, thanks to some nifty radio chip tagging technology. It’s not exactly going to challenge CBeebies for children’s entertainment, but few Christmas gimmicks will be more endearing.

Price: £115 for a Nabaztag plus three Ladybird Books (nabaztag.com ).
