The NCCAM Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Citation Index (CCI) consists of more than 175,000 bibliographic citations from 1963 to the present.

Citations were extracted from the National Library of Medicine’s Medline database. The citations were obtained using MeSH controlled vocabulary terms from the "alternative medicine" tree structure, and other selected terms and phrases.

Users may perform a search of the bibliographic data or browse through citations organized by CAM system, disease, or method.
