and Pike Fishing Reports this Week May 29th
Although a little patchy at
some venues, it was a good week with plenty of action
and very good reports in almost wall to wall sunshine
for most of the week. See

Bright calm and very sunny
weather spoiled daytime fishing on most of our
waters. Late evening and early morning provided the
best chance with some good results See

Shannon Regional Fisheries Board presides over the
Inland Fisheries of the Shannon catchment, the River
Feale catchment in north Co Kerry and the rivers of Co
Clare flowing westwards to the Atlantic, an area of
over 7000 sq miles. The coastal boundary stretches
from Kerry Head to Hags Head (Co Clare). The Board is
responsible for the protection, conservation,
development, management and promotion of Inland
Fisheries, including the sea angling resource within

The Shannon
Regional Fisheries Board have conducted extensive
research into providing you with the most accurate and
extensive fishing guides available for the
region. To supplement and add value to these guides we
depend on angling feedback. This is where you can
assist by letting us know of your experiences or best
angling tactics on our fisheries.
Contributions which we feel will add value to our
fishing guides will be posted and if information is
accepted you will have a choice to have your name and
email address included as a contributor at the bottom
of our guides to each fishery described. This will
enable others to view, communicate or even share other
information directly with you by email. This we think

| Founded in
1955 ISFC Irish Specimen Fish Committee is an
independent voluntary body, representative of
angling in Ireland, whose principal function
is to verify and publicise the capture of
large (i.e. specimen) fish caught on rod and
line by anglers in Ireland, both in freshwater
and marine waters. The Committee also ratifies
Irish record rod caught fish. The ISFC
co-ordinates and administers the unique
specimen awards scheme which is designed to
recognise any angler who catches a specimen
fish. Successful anglers are awarded a
certificate and a commemorative badge. More
