UN General Assembly postpones the Special Session on Children
The UN Special Session on Children, which was scheduled to
take place in New York from 19-21 September, has been formally
postponed by the UN General Assembly in recognition of the
tragedy that struck the United States on Tuesday. The Children's
Forum planned for 16-18 September has also been cancelled.
