The Shannon Regional Fisheries Board provides the most comprehensive fisheries resource and angling guide on the web for the Shannon region, which  covers an extensive catchment area of over 7,000 sq miles. In addition to information about the board, our educational and catchment management programmes, you will find all the information you need to plan your fishing trip to the region. We are constantly striving to improve our online service, and so would be delighted to hear from you using our feedback form.


The ShRFB is Ireland's largest regional fisheries board. We are charged with responsibility for the conservation and development of the wide variety of fish species available in our waters. Our roles include protection, management, promotion and education.
