Dr. Richard Olsen            Chairman and Co-Founder
Dr. Richard Olsen is the founder of The Olsen Group (formerly Olsen & Associates). He received his Licentiate in Law from the University of Zurich in 1979, his Masters in Economics from Oxford University in 1980 and his Ph.D. in Law from Oxford in 1981. From 1983 to 1985, Dr. Olsen worked as an assistant legal advisor, a member of the research team and a foreign exchange dealer at a Zurich-based bank. In 1985, Dr. Olsen founded The Olsen Group and became its Chief Executive Officer. In 1996, Dr. Olsen co-founded OANDA, Inc.

Dr. Michael Stumm           Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder
Dr. Stumm is a co-founder of OANDA, Inc. In addition, he is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. He was also director of Computer Engineering for several years. Dr. Stumm has over 20 years of experience in computer engineering and science at IBM, O&A, Stanford University, the University of Toronto and the ETH in Zurich, specializing in the area of distributed and parallel systems, Internet and Web technology, and eCommerce. Dr. Stumm has a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and is the author of over 80 scientific publications.

Alan Fletcher                      Head of FX Operations
Mr. Fletcher has nearly 20 years of experience dealing in the foreign exchange market. Prior to working at OANDA, Mr. Fletcher served as Manager of the Treasury Department at Athenian Capital Holdings where he led the development and implementation of the department's business plan. His extensive background includes the following positions: Senior Dealer at Linnco Europe Ltd., Head of Spot Foreign Exchange at ABN/AMRO Ltd., Chief Dealer of Spot Foreign Exchange at Tokai Bank Ltd., Senior Dealer of Spot Foreign Exchange at Midland Bank Plc., and Senior Spot Dealer of Foreign Exchange at the National Bank of Kuwait.

Bernard Hechinger              Head of OANDA Risk Management
Mr. Hechinger is a CFA with 15 years experience in dealing and marketing foreign exchange and fixed-income derivatives. He has worked at major Swiss, American and Japanese financial institutions (CSFB, Continental Illinois, Sanwa). Mr. Hechinger joined The Olsen Group in 1996 as Business Unit Manager responsible for extending the OIS to include interest rate instruments and aiding in the development of new trading models and strategies. He is now Head of OANDA Risk Management. Mr. Hechinger graduated from the Wharton School of Business.
