The Staber System 2000 is the only tumble action washer made in the U.S. that maintains top loading convenience. If you have high utility rates or would simply like to save money and resources, this efficient washer will be very helpful. For businesses doing an average of 5 loads per day, the Staber System 2000 will decrease operating costs by more than 50% each year compared to traditional agitator washers.

Since 1976, Staber Industries has been re-manufacturing laundry equipment from laundromats. We have seen what works and what does not by working on several brands of washers and have patented a unique tub design to revolutionize the industry.

Stainless steel tub construction and dual, re-greasable bearings on the front and back of the tub provide long life and durability. The transmission, clutch, and brake assembly has been eliminated, saving energy along with maintenance and repair costs. Convenient front panel access to our simple design drive belt and motor allows the end user to perform most service procedures, saving the costs of an expensive service call. Staber Industries also offers a toll-free Technical Assistance Hotline for guidance on do-it-yourself maintenance and repair. Parts are shipped by FedEx and UPS.

Consumers can save on utility bills and detergent costs throughout the year by using up to:

bulletUp to 66% less water — Only uses an average of 13 gallons per load instead of the average 30-50 gallons per load
bullet75% less detergent — Only 1 ounce needed per load instead of the average 4-8 ounces
bullet50% less energy — Low washer operating energy use and faster spin dry speeds                           — Much less hot water to heat, and less energy and time to dry

Using less resources is better for the environment while saving you more money for other needs. Based on an average of 5 loads per day in a traditional agitator washer and U.S. National average utility costs, the Staber System 2000 can annually save up to:

bullet49,000 gallons of water
bullet3,500 kWh of electricity, and
bullet43 gallons of liquid detergent

This can produce savings of up to $1,000 or more every year for each unit, which enables you to pay back the cost of the washer and continue to save each year. Less detergent use and two full tumble rinses means less detergent remains in consumers’ clothes, reducing related allergies and helping septic systems. The tumble washing action is gentle on their clothes, helping them to last longer and generates less lint. Naturally, they have saved money, their clothes look and feel better, and they have taken a step to improve our environment.

Simply fill the tub full of laundry, and it will all be gently tumbled down into a bottom pool of water. Meanwhile, water is pumped through the laundry by the patented tub design. A six-sided stainless steel inner tub rotates inside an eight-sided stainless steel outer tub, creating a turbulence in the water to clean more effectively. A stainless steel outer cabinet option is also available.

The capacity is slightly larger than agitator washers due to utilizing the entire tub volume, holding up to 18 lbs. of dry clothing. Our Staber System 2000 can accommodate up to 50% more laundry than traditional agitator washers; this is due to our top loading horizontal-axis tub design utilizing the entire tub volume. Agitator washers, or vertical-axis washers, have a water level that fills to the top and there is an agitator in the middle that takes up most of the usable tub volume. Bed comforters can be washed in the System 2000, of course, it depends on how thick it is. Whatever you can fit into the tub, you can wash. We sell to a lot of fire departments because they can wash their bunker gear top and bottoms in it.

When you combine the two price tags of our washer—the initial price and the cost to operate it for its lifetime—the System 2000 costs much less than any other washer available. At 5 loads per day the washer will pay for itself within 1 year due to its efficiency. So the more you wash, the less it costs and the quicker your payback period is. So think of this washer as an investment that has more than a 50% return on investment each year.

Check with your local utility company about a rebate, some are offering rebates ranging from $50-$350 for energy and water efficient clothes washers. Consumers can save more resources and money with the System 2000 compared with other washers on the market.
