OANDA deposits customer funds at a major United States financial institution. Client funds are maintained for the sole purpose of customers' trading activity and may never be utilized for operating expenses or other investment purposes. Funds are withdrawn from these accounts only as a direct result of the customer's trading activity or at customer's request for withdrawal.
