The catalog of the collections in the Library at the Chicago Botanic Garden is available in the Reading Room during normal business hours. The online catalog is accessible at a public computer for searching; Internet access is also available at the same computer. This public computer was provided to the Chicago Botanic Garden by a generous grant from the Illinois State Library.

LibraryCom
The catalog of the Library is available via the World Wide Web, through a service called LibraryCom. Visiting LibraryCom's catalog, at CBG Library, provides access to the bibliographic records of the Library from any Internet-connected computer with a Web browser.

LIAison
The catalog is also available via the North Suburban Library System's union catalog. Known as LIAison, it contains more than two million records for holdings of hundreds of libraries in the north suburban area of Chicago. LIAison can be accessed at the North Suburban Web site at http://www.nslsilus.org/services/liaison/liaison.html.

OCLC
The Library participates in the global bibliographic service known as OCLC (Online Computer Library Center). OCLC is a nonprofit membership organization serving 41,000 libraries in 82 countries and territories around the world. The OCLC database includes more than 47 million cataloging records created by libraries around the world, including the records of the Chicago Botanic Garden Library. CBHL
The Library is a member of the Council of Botanical and Horticultural Libraries (CBHL). Its collections are accessible to members of the Council via interlibrary loan as well as on-site.
