All organizations asking to be included in the Charity Auctions section of Yahoo! Auctions must provide a valid IRS code section 501c3 EIN number or equivalent proof of status. Charity auctions sellers must also provide complete information about their charitable organization, including the charity's name, address, and phone number. Additionally, the charity's purpose must be stated in the "About Me" section of their seller profile, and the seller must provide a link to the charity's operating web site, if available.
Only listings within the Charity Auctions section of Yahoo! Auctions may contain any language asserting that the proceeds of the auction will be used for charitable purposes.
