The Karen Hilltribes (Long Neck People), only used to be found in Mae Hon Son, have been settling in the region of Chiang Rai. Their womenfolk are adorned with heavy brass necklaces at a very young age to lengthen their necks. Women with long necks are considered to be the village great beauty. Now, they have settled in a small group in a village of Chiang Rai region. You will have a chance to visit their village and watch the women weaving clothes, and skills by which they are well-known for. 

Before reaching the Long Neck People, this tour takes you to see the Lisu hilltribe, known for their most elaborate colorful dresses of all Thailand's hill tribes. During ceremonies and festivals, the women wear massive amount of jewelry. Take a lunch at Tha Ton, a strategic boat landing point between Burma and Thailand. There are some souvenir stores, lining along the road. 

Another stop is made at the Lahu hilltribe village where you will embark on your river cruise down the exciting path of the Kok River. The journey ends at Pong Nam Ron-Hot Springs where you will be transferred to your hotel.
