last month compared to 12,936
in November 2001.
An increase of over 17%.
Just
looking at one week, the 17/11/2002
to the 23/11/2002,
compared to the same week in 2001,
showed that individual visits
increased by over 24%,
the number of countries,
(71), from
whence those visits came,
increased by over 44% and
the time spent on the site on
average by each visitor increased
by 3.5%.

individual booking
requests were counted by our data
base during November 2002. (An
increase of over 39% on
November 2001).
Almost
1000 bed nights
were requested in November 2002.
(An increase of over 19% on
November 2001).
These
requests came from 19 Countries
in November 2002. (An increase of
over 5% on
November 2002).
Over 64%
of our Hosts received
booking requests during November
2002. The highest number
since July 2002 when
we began to record this
information .
We are
able to record details of bookings
and bed night requests only when
they are made using our on
line facility.
Our
data base cannot record email
requests from our site, although
the email is identified as coming
from us. Neither can we
record, phone calls, faxes or
personal visits!
However
our manual survey of our Hosts
earlier this year did indicate
that we can add another 39%
from means other than the
on line booking
system, to the numbers of
booking requests and bed night
requests listed above.
We are
confident that we will continue to
improve the results that we get
for our Hosts.
