The Circuit Civil Department handles lawsuits with damages of over $15,000. They may include but are not limited to:

Civil Actions over $15,000 $206.00 Home Solicitation Permits $100.00 Appeal from a lower court to Circuit Civil $80.00 An appeal from Circuit Civil to the 4th District Court of Appeals requires one check for $250.00, payable to the 4th District Court of Appeals and a separate check, payable to the Clerk of Circuit Court which includes a service fee of $55.00, plus $1.00 for certification and $1.00 per page.
This process may be used to assist someone who has been given a price for automobile repair work, only to be charged a higher rate when the work has been completed. A cash bond must be posted with the clerk for the invoice amount. A certificate will be issued to the customer to enable the customer to retrieve their vehicle. The shop owner will have 60 days to file a petition to obtain payment for said repairs. There is no filing fee for this procedure.
EJECTMENT
A petition for ejectment may be filed when an adult person will not voluntarily vacate your home. This process may be used to remove a person or persons who occupy real property with you but, do not hold title to that property.
FORECLOSURE SALES
Foreclosure sales are conducted every Monday and Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the Courthouse dining room, Room 1.2406. This is located on the first floor of the courthouse at 205 North Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach. If Monday or Thursday falls on a holiday, no sale will be conducted.
Payment for bids and deposits shall be made in cash or bank cashier's check drawn upon a Florida Bank. The Clerk will not accept an out-of-state cashier's check, a personal check, third party cashier's check or credit card. An attorney's trust account check, drawn upon a Florida Bank will be accepted for bids and deposits.
HOME SOLICITATION PERMITS (F.S. 501.021)
The permit is used when selling items that cost in excess of $25.00, door-to-door. This statute should be thoroughly read prior to applying for a permit, to determine if a permit is indeed required for that which you propose to sell. The permit fee is $100.00
