Day 1 Chiang Mai – Boat Trip - Chiang Rai
08:00 Pick up from your hotel by local truck and then depart to Chiang Rai. The first stop is at the Hot Spring.
10:00 Proceed to Chiang Rai.
12:00 Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Continue driving to Tha Ton, a town on the banks of the Kok River chiefly serves as the launching point for downriver trips to Chiang Rai.
13:00 Arrive Tha Ton and then travel by a long-tailed speedboat upstream Mae Kok River (1 hour) to Karen Hilltribe Village (Baan Ruammit). Take an Elephant Riding (2 hours) to a nearby Lahu Hilltribe Village.
17:00 Arrive at Lahu Hilltribe Village (Baan Yafoo).
18:00 Dinner and overnight at Lahu Village.
Day 2 Lahu Village - Waterfall-Mae Sai - Golden Triangle – Chiang Mai
08:00 Breakfast at the village. Pack your belonging for further trekking.
09:00 Start trekking (1 hour) to Huay Maesay Waterfall and neighboring Akha & Yao Hilltribe Village at Baan Ar-Ja.
10:00 Take you on a truck to visit the Myanmar border at Mae Sa, the Northernmost Point in Thailand with its frontier town populated by opium smugglers and gangs of renegade bandits.
13:00 Lunch at a local restaurant.
14:00 Continue the trip to “Golden Triangle”, where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet at the confluence of the Mekong River, and visit the ancient city “Chiang Sean”, a sleepy place wonderfully located in a dramatic setting. Afterward drive back through Chiang Mai.
18:00 Arrive at Chiang Mai and transfer to your hotel
