How to find the Met Office

By rail


From Reading with a journey time around 20 minutes or from London Waterloo with a journey time about 60 minutes. Details from South West Trains train timetables, select timetable 02. Bracknell railway station is 10 minutes walk from the Met Office.

By road


Bracknell is midway between the M4 and M3 motorways, seven miles north of Camberley and 12 miles east of Reading. The main Headquarters building is adjacent to the roundabout at the junction of the A329, A3095 and B3022 and is accessed via Deepfield Road, off Park Road (B3022) - see map.

The car parks for Johnson House, Sutton House or the Hadley Centre are accessed via London Road.

Car park spaces may be reserved for visitors' cars by prior arrangement.

By bus from Heathrow
