DESERT ADVENTURES' METATE' CANYON RANCH is a unique and beautiful 1000 acre private desert paradise hidden amidst the steep walled canyons of the infamous San Andreas Fault.   We are just 15-20 minutes from the desert resorts, with NO SOUND OR TIME LIMITATIONS.  Our magical PRIVATE PRESERVE offers a place where nature creates an ever-changing palette of beauty and color, with several authentic and striking desert settings and adventure camps to choose from.

THE OASIS is a spectacular natural setting in a palm oasis, nestled behind a sand due.  The remote site is by jeep only and offers the perfect romantic setting for up to 100 guests.

  THE FAULTLINE offers spectacular canyon walls created by the forces of nature along the Faultline.  These awe inspiring uplifts create the perfect "Natural Cathedral", or hike to the ride for views from the Tram to the Salton Sea. .  The remote site is by jeep only and offers the perfect romantic setting for up to 100 guests.

STARLIGHT CANYON This incredible "Ballroom in Nature", created naturally by the San

Andreas Fault is amazing.  Your walls are natural uplift of the Earth.  The stars in the Heavens are your ceiling.  Site can accommodate up to 300 Guests with jeep and bus access.

 THE INDIAN VILLAGE provides a magnificent backdrop of mountains uplifted by Earth movements along the San Andreas Fault.  Made by the same techniques used by the Cahuilla Indians 2000 years ago, the village is complemented by sparkling pools & a running stream from water bubbling out of the fault, and views of a natural palm oasis and valley vistas.  This site has two levels.  The lower level offers a covered eating area for up to 100 guests and a small stage, and an open area that will accommodate 200 additional guests for dinner, games or more entertainment. The upper level offers an Indian Village, stream and ponds.  Behind the camp are miles of trails for exploration through steep walled canyons and a natural palm oasis right on the San Andreas Fault!   Site Can Accommodate up to 400 Guests with bus and jeep access.

COWBOY CAMP is a replica of an old mining town of the late 1800's.  The camp includes a covered eating area for several hundred guests, large dance floor and stage, campfires with group seating, walk-in mine, antique wagons, old equipment,  a cowboy town with assessors' office, hotel, walk-up saloon, bank, livery stable, and lock-up jail.  This camp has spectacular views of the Coachella Valley from the Salton Sea to Mt. San Jacinto. Behind the camp are miles of trails for exploration.  Site can accommodate up to 1000 guests with bus and jeep access.
