A:
POLAND IN ONE GO
Warsaw - Krakow - Auschwitz - Zakopane - Tatra
Mountains - (Gdansk + Baltic Sea) - Warsaw
Start in Warsaw,
the lively capital resurrected from the ashes of World War II - you will stay
in the middle of its quaint old town. Then enjoy the same conditions in Krakow,
definitely one of the most beautiful central European cities, boasting immense
cultural heritage and the largest market square in Europe. We recommend taking
a quiet excursion to Auschwitz concentration camps site. Some 50 miles
to the south the Tatra Mountains tower from the lowlands up to 2600 meters,
the highest summits of the Carpathian range are permanently snow-capped. Stay
at least two nights in traditional highlander surroundings (Zakopane) relishing
the delicious cuisine, cool fresh air and extraordinary views. Afterwards, there
comes time for a dramatic switch. For special weekend prices LOT airline can carry
you 450 miles north to a different atmosphere of the farthest north edge of Poland.
Stay in the splendid Hanseatic town of Gdansk and the famous Baltic
seaside resorts, Sopot. Relax on a beach or funfair pier, optionally
visit some bizarre sand dunes in Slowianski National Park. Finally travel
back to Warsaw in 4 hours by train. Everything at your own pace in only twelve
days.
PRICES FOR 10 DAYS TRIPS START FROM 900 USD FOR TWO PEOPLE, INCLUDING
