Start in the city of the
hundred spires Prague, see the breathtaking beauty of the Czech capital
with its vast amount of cultural heritage. Travel by train to Olomouc,
the second biggest architectural centre and see the charming old town. The next
country is Poland - crossing the industrial Silesia region you come to
Czestochowa - the spiritual heart of Poland, the splendid monastery of
Jasna Gora with the famous miracular painting of the Black Madonna. It is just
a short way to Krakow, the old royal residence of Polish kings and the
oldest salt mine in Europe in Wieliczka. Continue then to the Tatra
mountains. Take a break to experience the climate of their high rugged peaks.
The trip would not be complete without Bratislava, the young capital of
Slovakia. On the other bank of the Danube is Hungary and the fascinating city
of Budapest. You can prolong the tour to Vienna or return to Prague.
