I have been visiting Arundel for past 15 years. The town is quiet and cozy, the train goes right by the castle and the pubs offer a nice english atmosphere.

It was a really good place to see. It is a very nice ocean side town. The ocean is freazing cold but it is cool to see. The old pier is beutiful. They have a sign that sis they are going to restore it. They have some really good places to eat like the "Ha-Ha".

Had a great holiday in weymouth in may this year (2002). My family and I stayed at a caravan site called Waterside which was very good, especially for the kids as it had swimming, ten pin bowling and arcades and other games, though the football pitch they boasted about was terrible! it was on top of a really steep hill and was littered with pot holes, broken concrete and the nets wouldnt stop an elephant. one was ripped and one wasnt there at all! This is a minor issue though to what turned out to be a great place to stay. I think alot was due to the time of year being not the busiest of times, and our caravan (which was very nice, and CLEAN) was situated high up the park in a quiet area. Weymouth itself, which was about 5 mins drive from the caravan park into the town center, was nice. Plenty of shops, cafes, and the seafront and beach were clean with plenty of space on the beach even on a sunny day. There are some great attractions nearby too with our favourite being the tank museum which was expensive but fantastic. Would definately visit weymouth again. Its a clean place with nice walks and some good views across the shore, and i'm sure there is plenty more to see and do.
