Poland
has some very unusual natural attractions and developing sector of tourism services.
You can choose mountains, sandy beaches or lovely lake districts. There are 22
natural parks - All of them give an absolutely unique travel experience. You can
rest in comfortable hotels or guesthouses, enjoy lovely landscapes or undertake
exciting trips and excursions.
LAKES The Polish lakes can
be found mostly in the north-east corner of the country, close to the Lithuanian
border. Yet, the atmosphere of the originally Prussian areas in the Mazury is
enticing and adamantly rural. 3.000 lakes - each different, deep forests, ancient
country manors plus the highest concentration of storks in Europe. Come to see
why the storks come! We recommend especially to those who would like to try sailing.
MOUNTAINS
On
the Southern border with Slovakia the Tatra mountains tower from the planes. The
Tatra Mountains have already become famous - especially its' main resort Zakopane
bustles with holiday-makers. If you appreciate amazingly scenic rocky peaks, dales
and lochs, go for the mountains. Should you prefer to explore the less developed,
travel to Beskid and explore the wilderness of Bieszczady.
SEASIDE In
the Summer the Polish sea-side comes to life. Go to Miedzyzdroje, Leba or the
Hel Peninsula, you will be rewarded by historically captivating cities, several
highlights of nature, and relaxed maritime climate. You can bathe there after
all - the temperature is about 18 °C.
