 The Hotel is situated in the heart of the Quadrat d’Or, an area famous for modernism, Catalonia´s exuberant brand of Art Nouveau.
In the corner facing Gaudi’s La Pedrera are two
magnificent palaces-the Casa J. Daurella (1872) and the Casa E. Batlló (1895), which in 2002, leading architects have renovated and enlarged, converting them into the current first-class modern hotel.
