Partner Categories -- Services Partners

Services partners focus on business solutions and typically provide:

Consulting services
Systems integration services
Support for evaluation, implementation, and continuous improvement

When SAP recognizes an opportunity that has specific strategic value, such as a particular market segment or geographic area, SAP may offer partners Special Expertise Partnerships.

SAP supports services partners by offering Implementation Certification to consultants. Certification is based on a program of methodology and tools training.

Services partnerships are available at these levels:

SAP Partner - Services -- These partners are smaller companies that focus on local markets, specific industries, or specific SAP products.
SAP Alliance Partner - Services -- These are consultants that offer comprehensive services to key SAP accounts in a particular market. Alliance partners work with SAP to develop local markets and to deliver services. Participation at this level is by invitation only and requires a sufficient number of certified consultants.
SAP Global Services Partner - Services -- Global Partners are companies that deliver comprehensive services that cover at least two regions, such as Europe and the Americas.
SAP Global Alliance Partner - Services -- This is a select group of companies that focus on SAP through significant investments in resources and dedicated market funds. Participation at this level is by invitation only. Partners at this level ensure high-quality service by investing in a sufficient number of certified consultants.
