Being a golf enthusiast, I stopped for a quick 9 holes on my home course after completing 18 at another. On the third hole, the green is behind a small mound so you don't see the cup. When we looked for my ball, my buddy said check the hole and there it was.

How it happened?

i was having a very bad round, shooting bogey's and doubles. i walked upto the 8th tee box, and judged the distance, thinking i should go with a sandwedge. to my delight i was right. the ball flew to just short of pin high, kicked off the fringe to the left, and rolled about 5 feet staight into the hole. first reaction was that i couldn't believe it, and jumped up and down. couldn't have come on a better day, considering it was my 21st birthday.
