Dreamy clouds of pink and white have spread across the Garden, as thousands of crabapples, azaleas and hawthorns bloom over a carpet of colorful daffodils and tulips. The Gardens of the Great Basin and the Japanese Garden provide breathtaking vistas, while the Bulb Garden, English Walled Garden and Landscape Gardens provide more close-up views. McDonald Woods is at its peak, dotted with patches of white and red trilliums, buttercups, marsh marigold, toothwort and wild geraniums. Other trees and shrubs currently in bloom include Japanese kerria, weigela, redbuds and viburnums. Perennials to watch for include bleeding heart, Siberian bugloss, spurges and epimedium.
