www.nzhomestay is still performing well.
We judge our performance at the end of the latest complete month by comparing the same statistics from the same month from the year before.
We leave you to make your own judgement of our performance and the reasons for it.
2. Statistics. May 2003 compared to May 2002.
Total visitors to website: 14,267 over 10% higher than May 2002.
Daily visitor average: 460 compared to 416 in May 2002.
Total Countries visiting website: 72 Compared to 56 in May 2002.
Number Hosts receiving Booking requests: 23 Over 21% higher than May 2002.
3. Trends.
Booking requests:
From the USA: Double May 2002.
From Singapore: Double May 2002.
From Hong Kong: Double May 2002
From UK: Nil compared to 5 in May 2002.
The number of Hosts receiving booking requests was 21% higher this May than May 2002 but the number of countries from which booking requests originated dropped to 9 from 14 last year. In spite of this the number of bed nights requested overall still showed a slight increase. For instance the number of bed nights requested by NZ travellers almost doubled this May when compared to May 2002.
4. Future Improvements
Friendly Connections Ltd will be moving to a fully automated immediate confirmed booking system on the 1st of August 2003. More detail about this change will be sent personally to all of our Hosts over the next 3 weeks.
