Consistently highly graded by the AA, Hallwood Oast also features in the Which? Best B & B Guide. The accommodation, which is non-smoking, is within the old, beamed oasthouse.  This building was originally used for drying hops and has now been converted to serve as the main farmhouse.

'Bramling' - The twin room at Hallwood OastThe two ensuite guest rooms are named after varieties of hop.  "Fuggle" is a double room and "Bramling" is a twin. Both are spacious and thoughtfully furnished, with original exposed beams. The bathrooms and bedrooms are well stocked with complementary products for you to enjoy during your stay. Maps and tourist information are available.

Cereals, juices and fruitA hearty farmhouse breakfast is, of course, on offer at Hallwood Oast but there are also plenty of tempting and interesting alternatives on the menu.  The inspector enjoyed her breakfast enough to enter the Oast for this year's AA Best Breakfast award.

Visitors are welcome to explore the 230 acres of apples, blackcurrants, arable and sheep pastures.  There is also direct access into neighbouring Bedgebury Forest. A printed guide for a short farm walk, (along with wellies and waterproofs), is provided and, if invited, the dogs, Bill and Moby are usually very happy to accompany you!
