From the moment you leave your resort, a Desert Adventure’s Naturalist guide will share secrets of the desert and excite guests for the fun to come! As your luxury coach slowly meanders down the dirt road, the swaying palms of a natural palm oasis come in to view. Slowly you will turn into one of our beautiful canyons. You choose the site, an Old Mining Camp or Indian Village. Which ever you choose, you will step into another time and place, as you enter a world where nature is the star. Our parties are inclusive of everything you need to make your day really special. This adventure camp is a replica of an Old Mining Town of the late 1800's. The camp includes a covered eating area for several hundred guests, large dance floor and stage, campfires with group seating, walk-in mine, antique wagons, old equipment and a cowboy town with Assessors' office, hotel, walk-up saloon, bank, livery stable and lock-up jail. The camp has spectacular views of the Coachella Valley from the Salton Sea to Mt. San Jacinto. Behind the camp are miles of hiking-jeep trails for exploration. The site can accommodate up to 1000 guests.

Our carnival games are always a hit. Try your hand at some of our challenging games including Poker Darts, Softball Pitch, Boot Hill Ring Toss, and more. All of our games are housed in a unique false front game booth decorated to match the theme of your event, not the boring red & white canopies that are most commonly used. Each booth measures 10’ wide x 10’ tall x 10’ deep.

COYOTE GOLF
Even Tiger Woods would be challenged on our mini gtolf course set up right in the middle of the open desert! This truly professional quality course was used for numerous high dollar tournaments. Each hold is themed to match your event and features sand traps, palm trees, rocks, banked shots and other natural hazards.
Participants will throw Indian spears at a variety of targets set 30’-60’ away. These realistic spears with beads and feathers will add a fun and realistic touch to your party. Game area will be corralled in split rail fencing for guest safety. Includes all supplies and staff.
Tomahawk Pitch
Guests will throw Indian tomahawks at a large wooden target with a painted bull’s eye trying to make it stick. This is not as easy as it sounds but always a crowd pleaser. For guests safety entire game area is corralled in split rail fencing. Includes all supplies and staff.
GOLD PANNING
Strike it rich panning for gold from our 6’ long stainless watertight trough inside a 10’ x 10’ rustic western facade. This old west panning trough is covered with a rustic wood box cover and filled with river sand, water and gold painted river pebbles. Our prospector will show prospective miners how to pan for gold like a pro.
Bow & Arrow Shooting
Guests will enter our Bow & Arrow Corral and actually have the opportunity to shoot a real bow and arrow. Different targets will be placed on a stack of straw bales. For guest safety the entire game area will be corralled in split rail fencing. Includes bows, arrows, fencing, straw bales for target backboard and staff .
INDIAN TOOL TIME
INDIAN POTTERY AND ARROW FLINT-MAKING
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see pottery and arrow flints made by one of the few living artists who practices the old Indian art of making clay baskets from the desert earth. 2-hour program includes demonstration and opportunity to buy this rare art.
INDIAN FANCY DANCING
The heartbeat of America is sounded out on a single Indian drum. Feel the Native American ancient spirits as this Indian Brave creates a dazzling palate of moving color that mesmerizes you with the flashing feet and swirling feathers in the Buffalo Dance, Eagle Dance, and Hoop Dance. Join in the fun as you dance the Friendship Dance that bonds culture with harmony.

THIS GUY IS GREAT as he strolls through your guests, entertaining them with his marvelous card tricks. The hand is definitely quicker than the eye. Our gambler will amaze and amuse you with his tricks.
