Aung San Suu Kyi, the leader of the Democratic Opposition in Burma is spending yet another birthday in prison, unable to receive even the personal birthday greetings sent by Secretary Powell. The continued detention of Aung San Suu Kyi, members of her political party and others who have peacefully expressed their political views, is without cause and unacceptable. They should be released immediately...
