Façade.JPG) The Hotel Britannique is located at the historic heart of Paris, avenue Victoria, near the Grand Louvre, Notre Dame and Pompidou center. The hotel is very well served by urban transportation and you can get easily to airports and railway stations.
During the First World War the hotel became the headquarters in France of the Quakers humanitarian organisation, whose mission was to assist the civilian population. During the Second World War, it was requisitionned by the occupying forces as a place to stay for the officers.
Since 1945, it has become again the prefered stopping place for English speaking guests who have always been warmly greeted. During your stay you will taste the best products specially selected for you : Renowned spirits, Moët & Chandon champagne, wines and teas from the best vintages, cigars from La Havanna, the finest chocolates... Here and there, shimmering light and an atmosphere reminiscent of William Turner.

A few steps away from the hotel, you directly arrive to the Grand Louvre Museum and to the Marais.
And just crossing the Seine river to the left bank, you arrive on the islands of la Cité and Saint Louis, then the Latin quarters.
