urgent need Foster home for Star for one week. We need to place Star in a home from July 18th until July 26th when other foster parents will return. another urgent need Volunteers willing to work for an hour or two on weekend mornings to clean dog kennels and feed and water the dogs. If there is a special dog or cat you would like to meet let us know and we'll bring them. revised website Regular visitors will notice a few changes to our website. First, and most obvious, are the new heading, background color, and link 'popups'. On the more substantial side we have congregated and highlighted those things that people can do to help the animals such as adopting and volunteering. We have also added a new section to tell some of the stories that have occurred at SOAR over the years. And, we have also rearranged our dogs and cats pages to hopefully make them a little more 'visitor' friendly. We have many more changes in mind and we are going to work hard to make our website interesting and a better showcase for our animals. who we are SOAR is non-profit, no-kill, animal rescue shelter. It accomodates lost, abandoned and injured dogs and cats, giving our animal friends a chance at life, an opportunity to be loved, and hopefully a new and loving adoptive family. We provide safe shelter, medical treatment, healthy food, love, and daily care to cats and dogs. hours of operation and locationWe are open to the public on Wednesdays between 9 and 12 and on Saturdays between 10 and 2.
