Governor Signs SB 210 - Overtime Bill
July 3, 2003 (Juneau) - Governor Frank H. Murkowski on Wednesday signed into law SB
210, which makes a 1999 amendment to the Wage and Hour Act retroactive
to 1990. The amendment does not allow the same hour worked to be

relating to real estate disclosures, licensing of home inspectors, a
safety codes task force, regulation of brewpubs, a retail tax on auto
tires, requiring 72-hour notice before teachers can strike, clarifying
overtime computation for wages and hours, and allowing trapping of

Bristol Bay On-Shore Area added to Lease Plan
July 1, 2003 (Anchorage) - Gov. Frank H. Murkowski today announced that the state's
five-year oil and gas leasing program will be revised at the request of
the Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) to include on-shore annual
area-wide lease sales on state and Native Corporation land on the Alaska
