Defense Trade Controls - Compliance

To ensure compliance with U.S. export law and regulations, the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls believes that registered exporters and manufacturers should have in place programs that assist in monitoring defense trade activities.

These programs should include a manual that articulates the companies' committment, policy, and procedures dealing with licensing and compliance matters, to include identification and duties of empowered and responsible persons, record keeping and internal auditing.

To assist you, DDTC has identified some elements that we believe should be included in your compliance program: Guidelines for DTC Registered Exporters/Manufacturers Compliance Program
