The associations recognize and endorse the need for establishing practical guidelines in the form of prescribed principles of standard practice which all components of the construction industry may voluntarily accept and apply in their sector of the marketplace.

The new Amendments will be in effect on all projects received at the Bid Depository on or after January 6th, 2003. ITAC Launches Pilot E-Learning Project The Industry Training & Apprenticeship Commission (ITAC), along with the support of the Federal Government of Canada's Office of Learning Technologies (OLT), have recently launched a Trades Training Pilot the workers can access over the internet. Introduction to Industrial Hydraulics" covers the basics and features colourful animation, detailed graphics and online quiz's to present some of the best examples of entertaining and effective online learning. The course is Free of Charge, does not require the purchase of software, takes 2 to 4 hours to complete and includes instructor support by phone and email.
