BELFAST INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT:(North Map M 4)
is Northern Ireland's principal airport. Located 30km (19 miles)
from Belfast city centre. Airbus operates a bus service to Belfast
city from the airport every half hour. (one way UK£4.50, return
UK£7.50).
BELFAST CITY AIRPORT:(North
Map L 4) is the North's second airport with flights from the
UK from London (Gatwick and Heathrow) and from Stanstead and Luton.
A train service operates from Sydenham Halt to Central Station.
CITY OF DERRY AIRPORT:(North
Map I 3) The airport is located just 8km (5 miles) from the
city of Derry and provides services by British Airways to Manchester
& Glasgow.There is no bus or train service from the airport so a
convenient alternative is to take a taxi from the airport to your
hotel.
CORK AIRPORT:(Southwest
Map F 18) Located 5km (3miles) south of Cork City on the Kinsale
road Cork Airport is used mainly for flights to and from the UK.
The following Airlines provide regular scheduled flights to Cork
International Airport: Aer Lingus, Ryanair, British Airways, Air
South West, KLM, Air UK, Manx Airlines.
Bus Eireann +353 21 508188 operates a daily bus service to and from
Cork City Centre with regular departures every 45 minutes. Fares
cost £2.50 adult single, £1.50 child single, £3.50 adult return,

Journey time is approximately 20 minutes.
There is a taxi rank located outide the main terminal. The cost
is approximately £6.00 from the airport to City Centre.
DONEGAL AIRPORT:(Northwest
Map E 6) Located in Carrickfinn servicing destinations throughout
Europe and North America.
DUBLIN AIRPORT: (East
Map L 10) run by Aer
Rianta, is Ireland's main airport and caters for most international
flights. The airport is situated about 10km north of the city see
city

Duty free shoppping is no longer available on European flights however
passengers on non-European flights can still avail of it. For full

FARRANFORE AIRPORT: (Southwest
Map C 16) Kerry's regional airport is situated 16km
(10 miles) from Kilarney. It connects the county with Dublin each
day and with one daily flight from London as well as accommodating
a series of charter flights.
GALWAY AIRPORT: (West
Map E 11) is 6km (4 miles) from Galway City. It is used mainly
for internal flights but also a small number of UK flights are serviced
here.
There is no bus service from the airport but most flight arrivals
are taken to the Galway Rail Station in the city centre by an airline
coach. A taxi service is also available from the airport to the
city centre and costs about £7.00.
KNOCK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: (West
Map E 9) There are direct flights to and from London and Manchester.
An Aer Lingus shuttle service to Dublin connects with flights through
the world. During the summer, there are direct charter flights from
the USA.
There is no bus service from the airport. There are usually taxis
available or alternatively car rental can be arranged at the airport.
SHANNON AIRPORT: (Shannon
Map E 14) Located 26km (16 miles) west of Limerick City Shannon
Airport accomodates all Transatlantic flights, it also serves some
UK and Europe flights.
Bus Eireann operates a bus service to Limerick City between 8am
and midnight. The bus journey takes about 40 minutes and costs £3.50.

SLIGO AIRPORT: (West
Map E 6) is located near Strandhill 8km (5miles) outside Sligo
town. The airport is served by one flight to Dublin per day in the
winter months, this increases in April to two per day.
Buses run from Sligo town to the airport to meet all flights.
