Spider Island

This garden was designed to be a serene, quiet retreat. It features naturalistic plantings of trees, grasses and native wildflowers surrounded by tranquil views of the lake and shoreline.

Approached by a long boardwalk of rough-hewn wood, the island meadow is surrounded by birches, alders and serviceberries. A woodland path leads to a secluded seating area beside the lake.
