Going away on a Golfing holiday or
a short break?
A golfing holiday to the Algarve or the States is great
fun. But there could be tears before the 19th hole if
your clubs or equipment is stolen - especially if you
discover that your travel insurance doesn't cover you
for the loss! Unfortunately, it happens and few travel
policies actually offer cover for golf equipment.
The
better policies , however, will actually arrange for
a replacement set of clubs for you so that your holiday
isn't ruined.
There's
also the risk of accidentally damaging someone else's
property. Let's face it, even the best amateur golfers
occasionally slice into the rough - or the car park!
Knowing
that your insurance will pay for the damage to a vehicle,
property, or even if you injure someone, means you'll
be able to drive away in peace. And, after all, that's
the point of the holiday - to relax!
