US Club Soccer Signs Puma as National Corporate Partner

PUMA® Becomes Official Ball of US Club Soccer National Cup Championship

CHARLOTTE (June 11, 2003) – US Club Soccer has signed a two-year agreement with PUMA North America, Inc., naming the global athletic company as Official Ball supplier to the US Club Soccer. Moving aggressively into its third season, US Club Soccer has launched its Corporate Partner Program, connecting its members with important benefits from the country’s leading corporations, and connecting its partners with its highly desirable membership base.

The new agreement commences at the first regional tournament in Dallas Texas on June 6, 2003. PUMA® will provide special offers and benefits to US Club Soccer’s member Clubs and individual members. The agreement includes traditional grassroots sponsorship benefits, such as venue signage and direct marketing access. As the official match ball supplier of Major League Soccer, PUMA will provide MLS, professional quality balls for the US Club Soccer National Championship.

The agreement was brokered by US Club Soccer’s marketing agency, Charlotte, NC-based RMG3, Inc. US Club Soccer and RMG3 expect to announce several additional members of its Corporate Partners Program in the coming weeks, prior to the start of this year’s US Club Soccer National Cup Championship.
