The Murray family Annette, Mary, and John caught one mahi and some small and medium aku
|
Our day started at 4:40 on this day of 25 mph trades going to the R buoy. To our disappointment the porpoise still own the R. So we went to the S buoy and caught some really small aku, Mary had fun. We saw a lot of bird activity but only took one mystery slam near the V buoy that did not stick. On our way home we hooked a nice mahi 3 miles from the harbor and John got to reel it in, dinner just got better. With 2 miles to go we hooked a 5 pound aku and Annette got to reel that one in. In the harbor John swallowed an eyeball before Annette had a chance to protest, good man. I think these folks get the award for traveling the farthest to come fishing with us, from England. They did great. Aloha Capt. Rusty
