Carol M. Weiss
Administrative Assistant

Carol Weiss provides administrative assistance and secretarial support to the Director of Plant Collections, the three Collections Curators and the Manager of Living Plant Documentation. Specifically, her responsibilities at the Chicago Botanic Garden include typing, filing and executing mailings. She also handles purchase orders, supply requests and seminar registrations.

In addition, Carol orders plants and helps organize events, including in 2001 the Collections Field Day, the National Conference on Enhancing the States’ Lake & Watershed Foundation, the International Bulb Society Annual Meeting, and the Second National Conference on Nonpoint Source Pollution Information & Education Programs.

She received her bachelor of arts degree in psychology from San Jose State University.
