Pepper Festival August 9–10

Some like it hot, and the spicy fare at the Fruit & Vegetable Garden's Pepper Festival includes culinary demonstrations, a marketplace, music, discovery stations, games, crafts and giveaways.

Renowned chefs Ramiro Velasquez of Carlos' Restaurant, Marc Bernard of Foodlife, Priscilla Satkoff of Salpicon and Jon Manion of Mas willl headline the event with cooking demonstrations. Try the Hot Pepper Challenge. Learn the best gardening techniques for growing peppers. This weekend event pays homage to peppers hot, sweet and ornamental.
