It has a unique atmosphere of comfort and hospitality which has been eloquently described as an isle apart, set in the city. Secluded bowers formed by flowering shrubs and hedges, mellowed urns, fountains and a swimming pool shaded by cypresses, umbrella pines and terracotta-roofed shelters creates a pre-raphaelite idyll. Entering through its monumental gates, this 19th century mansion with its Genoese-style towers appears as a breathtaking sight. Inside, the 49 bedrooms are decorated in classic style with their regional fabrics and furniture putting you completely at ease. Rooms have private bath and toilet, air-conditioning, hairdryer, satellite TV, mini safe, PC plugs. Some rooms are facing the park and some have a private terrace. Superior rooms - one king or two twin beds, larger than standard rooms but with the same amenities. They are all facing the park or the pool, some with private terrace or balcony.
