Shipping Seafood
The cost of shipping seafood is complex, and relatively high- for smaller quantities.  All online seafood companies are faced with the same kinds of costs. Some companies build the shipping cost into their seafood prices, then advertise "free shipping". At Fisherman's Express, we prefer just to explain them.

Costs include

• UPS overnight shipping charges
• The insulated fish box
• The dry ice
• The additional shipping weight of the box and dry ice
• Insurance

Cost Per Pound:
The cost of shipping is relatively high for only a few pounds of seafood.  For this reason, we typically ship a minimum of 5 lbs. at a time, although we are happy to accommodate anybody's request. For more than 5 lbs., the relative cost per pound sharply declines.



Secure Online Ordering:
All orders are processed through secure online encryption using secure socket layer technology provided by Verisign's Thawte subdivision.

Privacy Policy:
At Fisherman's Express, we have the highest respect for your privacy.  We do not sell people's email addresses or any other personal information they provide us with. All credit card information is taken with a secure server, and is not retained in our records for future use.

If you ever wish to be removed from the list of people we contact via e-mail, we will do so immediately upon your request.
