Morning Producer
DEPARTMENT: NEWS POSITION: MORNING PRODUCER REPORTS TO: EXECUTIVE PRODUCER DATE OF POSTING: July 23, 2003 (POSITION IS OPEN UNTIL FILLED) This will be a regular, full-time, non-union, non-exempt position.
RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS: - Position will produce fast-paced morning show
- Demonstrated ability to produce a state of the art contemporary newscast
- 3 – 5 years experience producing compelling newscasts in a medium to major market
- Demonstrated ability to use state of the art live and graphic technologies, and to work with writers, reporters and assignment editors on story development
- Position requires employee to work overnight shift
- College degree or equivalent in journalism/communications or broadcasting preferred
