If you live in the White Plains, New York area, an opportunity to volunteer with the March of Dimes presents itself at our National Office. Volunteers can keep business skills up-to-date while working in a pleasant, casual environment with friendly, caring people.
In this computer-dominated age, we have a great need for volunteers with some computer skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access, etc. Volunteer opportunities also include:
- Research on the Internet
- Data Entry
- Special Projects (past projects include: evaluating scholarship candidates, calling celebrities to confirm events, creating and presenting reports on a variety of subjects, assisting with meeting plans)
- Work with fund raising
- Collate/assemble information packages
