Springfield Lodge is ideally located in the old Bohemian district of Kings Cross where poets, artists and musicians found their inspiration back in the early 1900's. Today, Kings Cross is a magnet for all travellers who come to Sydney and still draws artists from all genres. The district comes alive in the evening with funky street cafes, restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

Springfield Lodge is an immaculate 78-room, 1930's building that has been refurbished to suit budget travellers of all ages. The rooms are clean, comfortable and secure.

Kings Cross is an excellent starting point to all of Sydney's main attractions. The Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Botanical Gardens, The Rocks, Darling Harbour and city centre are all within easy walking distance.

Airport bus transfers

 The Airport Express Bus departs the airport for Kings Cross approximately every ½ hour. The bus stop is a 3 minute walk from Springfield Lodge. Alternatively there is a mini van shuttle service which will drop off outside the hotel. They are located outside the international terminal. 

Airport rail transfers

There is a rail service from the airport to Kings Cross, however you need to change trains at Central Station.
