Overview::
 On
the island of Borneo, the Batang Ai Longhouse Resort is
located on the shores of a spectacular fresh water lake,
surrounded by mountains and the unspoiled rainforests of Sarawak.
The resort has 100 rooms, the Nanga Mepi Restaurant, Wong Irup
Bar, an outdoor terrace, a swimming pool, a meeting room which can
hold up to 200 guests and a boat jetty for arriving guests. The
resort's design is based on the traditional timber longhouses of
the region's native Iban tribes with the 27,000-hectare Batang Ai
National Park close by.

Location::
 Situated
in the federal state of Sarawak on the island of Borneo, the
Batang Ai Longhouse Resort occupies a 20-hectare site on the shore
of a spectacular mountain lake. A four-hour drive from the state
capital and international airport at Kuching, the resort can be
accessed via transportation offered by local tour operators or
self-drive. The last leg of the journey is by motorised launch
across the lake.
Directions to Hotel - Transportation to Resort must be
arranged at time of booking. There is a shuttle service that is
available daily leaving Hilton Kuching at 8:00AM and departing the
Resort at 1:00 PM. It takes about 4 hours drive to reach the
Resort. The charges are RM100.00 per person return with a minimum
of two people. Charges for children 11 years and below is RM 50.00
return. Private shuttle can also be arranged at RM 300.00 per way
with a minimum of 2 people and for every additional person a
charge of RM75.00 is levied.
