1. Introduction.

This is the end of the first full month of operation of our new fully automated booking system.

We can now calculate the number of bed nights confirmed via our web site not just those requested.

2. Status of Changeover.

All but 4 of our Hosts who have agreed to join the new system have their new Home Pages up and running.  The remaining four are entering their forward bookings.

The old web site will be switched off on the 24th of October or earlier if this can be arranged to the satisfaction of each of the small number of remaining Hosts who do not wish to use the new booking system.

3.   First Statistics.

During September 2003 28 % of our Hosts received 'confirmed on line' bookings from 8 different countries.

This is just the start.
