Suggestions for improvements or additions
If you have any suggestions for improvements or additions to the National Grid for Learning (NGfL) please email the NGfL content team.

If you have a suggestion to make about an NGfL-approved site you should contact the webkeeper of the site concerned. Details of how to contact each site's webkeeper can usually be found on the home page of the site or on a 'Feedback', 'About' or 'Comments' page.

Technical errors
You should report technical errors on the NGfL itself to the NGfL Webkeeper.

If you find any technical errors on an NGfL-approved site (error messages, missing or broken graphics etc), please report them to the webkeeper of the site concerned.

When reporting technical errors, try to give as much information as you can. This will help the webkeeper to track down and fix the problem. Your email should include:

  • the URL (http:// address) of the page on which the error occurs
  • the date and time you discovered the error
  • the nature of the error and the text of any error message
  • the name of your browser and its version number, for example Internet Explorer 4.0, Netscape 4.7. (Version information is usually found in a 'Help' or 'About' file accessed from the main menu bar of the browser.)
  • the type of computer you are using, for example, Mac, PC.

Please email the NGfL Webkeeper if the problem is not rectified or if you receive no reply from the webkeeper of the site.

GridWatch and Internet safety
Everyone wants the NGfL to be a valuable educational resource that is safe and dependable for learners of all ages. GridWatch has been set up to monitor the content of the NGfL to ensure that it is both safe and appropriate.

NGfL Newsdesk
If you have a news story about learning or education that you would like to be considered for use on the NGfL, please email the NGfL newsdesk.
