Heather's Excellent Advice

This is where you will receive my expertise advise (because I'm so full of it) about any question or problem you may have. I can give you info on witchcraft, spirituality, relationships, basically just about anything except science or math.

If you are on a website like this one, and there are banners hopping around at the top of the page distracting your attention, you can click the STOP button on your browser to make it stop (Internet Explorer only.) I'm not sure if it works on Flash banners, but it works for animated gif banners, which is what most of them are.

Well, I had me a little bitch session up here in the advice area a few weeks ago. It concerned my job and a certain manager. I took it down after a few days though because it was just mean. At any rate, I ended up quitting that job because of the bad management. I really don't have a clue how I'm going to survive now, but you know what? I don't have any regrets, and I know that one way or another, things will work out for me. They always do. My advice to you today would be: Don't keep doing something that makes you miserable because you don't think things can work out any other way. The universe will always take care of you if you make an attempt to help yourself. If you have the guts to quit your lousy job, and hope that there are better ways to live, then the angels and whatever God you believe in will do everything possible to make sure you are happier for it. Always believe that, even when times are tough. The going could be rough for me for a while. Keep in mind though, that it's sort of like a forest fire. Everything is burned down to the ground, and seems to be destroyed. But after a while, new life springs up, and the forest will grow again.

UPDATE: I do have a better job now. I have two jobs, in fact. Plus, I do web design, so take my advice and don't stay at a job that makes you miserable. It's not worth it, and there are better opportunities for you out there.

Here are some general rules:

The most important advice I can think of is DO NOT PUT MUSIC ON YOUR WEBSITE. Just don't. It freezes up my computer, and besides, who can read your intelligent commentary when there is MUSIC playing in the background. It's a mistake many new website owners make, so don't feel ashamed... JUST TAKE IT OFF.

UPDATE:  I now have a big fancy computer and your idiotic music no longer causes my computer to freeze up, but it's still annoying. Did you ever think maybe I was listening to some Stevie Nicks music while I browsed your site?  Yep, that's right. I really didn't need to hear your non-music midi-file playing over top of the Queen of Rock. Get rid of it. Also keep in mind that there are people who surf the internet from public places, like the library, and music could be very embarrassing for them.

More advice:

Buy Stevie Nicks' new album, "Trouble in Shangri-La." Stevie's a goddess.

You don't have to be Wiccan to be a witch.

Read up on reincarnation, if you haven't already. A wonderful book to start with is "Journey of Souls" by Michael Newton, Ph.D.

As far as physical looks are concerned, LESS is always MORE, and the kind of men who are looking at you when you wear those revealing clothes may not be the kind that you want to be with anyway. And why would you wear high heeled dress shoes with shorts? Mariah Carey can get away with it, but she is very beautiful, not to mention a superstar. So can Beyonce Knowles (Destiny's Child) Trust me, you are no Beyonce. I come close, but you need to stop trying. (Just kidding, I don't even come close.) Haha.
