When the weather turns cool, most birds head south for the winter. Maybe
our feathered friends are on to something, so follow their lead and head
south. One sun-drenched option
is Charleston, South Carolina - an old Southern port city that some
believe is the most picturesque city in America. If that's not warm enough,
there is always Florida, where frost is just a great American poet and
adults can spoil their inner child
at Disney World. If you seek more hot food than hot weather, head
to New Orleans where Creole and Cajun work together to raise your body
heat. But maybe you want even warmer temperatures, the heat you can
only get on the quintessential tropical escape. The Caribbean is the obvious
choice, but there's more to it than sun and sand. Strap
on your mask and fins and go below the surface to marvel at the Caribbean's
underwater paradise.
Of course, birds don't have travel agents so it takes them weeks of flapping
for them to find the sun. Contact a travel
agent to help you plan a hassle-free vacation and you too can be enjoy
an eternal summer holiday.
